Trading as BCAS Global (UK) Ltd and BCAS international Nig Ltd for the MEAI market the company trades in energy products, supplies equipment and aftermarket services to the oil and gas and scientific industries.

HEAT EXCHANGERPERFORMANCE

Heat transfer equipment are designed to operate under expected operating process conditions. The hydraulic and thermal performances may be impacted outside of the operating case envelope caused by a variety of parameters. The internal configuration of compact heat exchangers is particularly prone to performance deviation when operated outside of the expected operating cases. Our team have extensive expertise and can offer technical support to identify the cause(s) of performance deviation and offer recommendations. Applying the correct remedial steps in a timely manner will improve equipment uptime and avoid potential long-term equipment failure. HEAT EXCHANGER cLEANING
Heat exchanger performance will suffer due to foreign material within the flow channels. This can be caused by the ingress of matter such as sand, dirt, small objects at assembly, pre-commissioning and commission phase. Further clogging can be caused by strainer failure upstream of the heat exchanger releasing aforementioned matter and strainer mesh into the heat exchanger. Flow restrictions can occur due to changes to the process/coolant fluid. For example, you may experience hydrate formation and liquid carryover on the process side, and excessive calcification on the coolant side due to coolant water chemistry. Flow restriction will cause adverse performance and potentially irreversible without proper remedial action and preventative measures.
